4/3/08 - Opus Adds Finance Executive, 9 to Team

Beaverton  , Ore April 3, 2008 Opus Solutions, a Beaverton-based provider of integrated event management solutions, announces the addition of a 10 team members to various divisions within the organization.

Michelle Cairo has joined Opus Solutions as Vice President, Finance. With a long career in finance,  including strategic planning, performance management, mergers and acquisitions, financial integrity management, and systems integration, Ms. Cairo will oversee the financial operations of the organization. Previous to this position, Ms. Cairo was Director of Finance at PacifiCorp, an electric utility serving 1.7 million customers in six western states. In her role she was responsible for the financial integrity and performance of the transmission and distribution organization, the largest division in Pacific Power.

Todd Hutchings is the new Director, Audio Visual & Production Partnerships at Opus, responsible for the growth and development of Opus’ AV and production support services.  Previous to this position, Mr. Hutchings was an Events Manager at CMD Agency.

Denise Ker joins Opus as a Director, Account Management.  Ms. Ker will be responsible for the management of several key accounts, as well as the development of Opus’ event consulting services and union vertical.  Previous to this position, Ms. Ker was the Worldwide Corporate Events Manager at Tektronix, Inc. and then owner of Viva! Events. 

Miranda Davis has joined Opus Solutions’ Event Services division as Director, Promotional Products.  Ms. Davis will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and fulfillment of Opus clients’ premium-branded products needs.  Previous to this position, Ms. Davis was General Manager at The RGU Group in Tempe AZ.

Brett Preston has joins the Event and Tradeshow Management team as an Account Manager for a variety of Opus’ high-tech clients.  Previous to this position, Mr. Preston was an independent Event Planner for 7 years, managing the onsite execution of hundreds of events.

Rich Hancock, Shirleen Dunn and Heather Suchy have joined the Event and Trade Show Management division, as Account Managers in the Trade Show Services team.  They are responsible for the complete turn key execution of client participation at trade shows, including trade show pre-planning, exhibit and sponsorship management, asset management and logistics. Previous to this position, Mr. Hancock was a Marketing Events Coordinator with New Edge Networks in Vancouver , WA , Ms. Dunn was a Marketing Specialist and Trade Show Coordinator for Tripod Data Systems in Portland , OR and Ms. Suchy was a Marketing Associate at S.R. Smith in Canby , OR .

Kelly Ten Pas and Beth Stewart have joined Opus Solutions as Program Managers, responsible for the day-to-day execution of event and marketing programs.  Previous to this position, Ms. Ten Pas was an Account Manager at Aerotek, Inc., and Ms. Stewart was an Events Coordinator for several Oregon companies.
